Taylor Swift is a successful singer-songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Swift has quickly established herself as one of the premier songwriters of her generation. She has also played with a wide variety of prestigious artists including Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts.
Her debut album Taylor Swift, obtained the #1 spot on both the American and Canadian country music charts and #5 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album spawned five hit singles which were primarily written by Swift. Her follow-up Fearless peaked at #1 on three international country music charts and the US Billboard 200. Fearless produced six hit singles, three of which premiered within the top ten songs in the country.
Swift has been nominated for seventeen awards and has won twelve, including an American Music Award for Favorite Female Country Artist. She is set make an appearance in the upcoming concert film Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience and reportedly has a cameo in the film based on the Hannah Montana series.
